Crescent say they are 100 percent open, they truly are 100 percent open. This includes the ski area near Kansas City which has warmer weather than Mt. Crescent. One year ago this January, one of Mt. Crescent's two chairlifts broke. Mt. Crescent ski area is really the only snow skiing near Omaha, Nebraska. So that’s the location that most people go to in the state. It’s only about 15 miles from the city, so it’s an easy ski trip for anyone that lives there.
