Normally on most cars, there is a switch on the light itself which allows you to control whether you want the light to come on or not. This one doesn't have such a switch.It is a known fault on the Jazz due to a design fault in the mechanism and/or CVT-fluid – Honda have modified both. I did a manual gearbox oil change on a mark 1 Jazz and used non-Honda oil with success. Is there an alternative fluid to the Honda CVT fluid? I know the correct Honda product is called Honda CVT-F or CVT-Fluid.
