Turns out the bird is called a whip-poor-will (named onomatopoeically after its song). So I found a recording of its song, did a little study on how Skyrim does its ambient bird sounds, and voilà! I added THAT bird song. It's set up exactly the same as the vanilla bird ambience, so it can be heard at random anywhere in pine forest regions .... Whippoorwill bird sound
